Steph and I are driving to North Woodstock, NH. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs this week so we decided to spend a few days away from it all. Our challenge, only spend $100!! That includes gas and food which doesn’t seem like a lot but gas prices on our route are pricey. We are driving up today and driving back Tuesday. Our plan is to boondock for the first time. I’ll be updating the blog Wednesday or Thursday. Wish us luck!

Today was a gorgeous day and Steph and I wanted to get out of the house. We know Jamestown is beautiful during this time of year so we drove down to Beavertail State Park. The air is fresh, it’s warm, and there is a breeze, perfection.

As we walked up we were surprised to find out the museum was free for all. Not a very big museum but took about 10 minutes to walk through.

Overall, it was a good day.

We absolutely loved ANP so much we purchased an annual pass, only $55. It can be purchased online or in the park.

Mt Desert Island is absolutely gorgeous! The scenery, the hikes, Bar Harbor is beautiful with lots of things to do and places to go.
